I've obtained this level in 1995. The instrument is of Swiss origin, just as my T2 theodolite. It's a more sophiticated instrument than the NK01. This version has a tilt adjustment screw, but still no compensator like the NA2.
At the base there is a 360º scale for simple angle measurements. Reading the scale is done by a small telescope.
The instrument is roughly levelled by its levelling screws and fine tuned with a tilting screw, there is no compensator. Its accuracy is about 1.5" (0.2mm at 25 metres). The standard deviation for a 1km double run levelling is about 3mm (1σ, 68%).
